In loving memory of Marilyn Platt Goodlett who passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2012. Marilyn will be missed by her loving husband of 56 years, Bill Goodlett, and their children Kim and Camp. She is also survived by six grandchildren, two great grand-children, six nieces and nephews, and a loving dog.
Marilyn was a wonderful artist; she studied art history at Mary Washington University in Virginia and enjoyed exploring art museums in New York City. Her love of art included primitive pottery, sculptured vessels, and painting in various mediums. Marilyn's work has been displayed in many galleries in the Bay Area. She also had a deep appreciation for Native American Indian Culture and was fascinated with African Ceremonial Artifacts.
Marilyn cherished her many close friendships through bridge, art, camping group, antiques, and many other interests. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
