Welcome to My Personal Page

I am participating in a fundraiser for the American Lung Association on February 19th.  The event is called Fight For Air Climb (previously known as Climb the Carew) and I am doing the Vertical Mile Challenge.  This is my seventh year participating in the event and the sixth year doing the Vertical Mile Challenge.  This means that I will climb all 45 stories of the Carew Tower 10 times to reach a mile up and down.  That will equal over 16,000 steps.  My participation in the event will help the American Lung Association in their work to eradicate lung diseases such as asthma, lung cancer, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD, emphysema and chronic bronchitis), cystic fibrosis and many others.

Last year, I raised over $4,000.00 and want to do even better this year.  My goal is to raise $5,000 which is just $500 for each trip to the top that I will complete.  I also have recently been voted as the Chair of the Regional Leadership Council for the American Lung Association of Midland States Region E.  Our goal is to focus on program delivery, fundraising, development, marketing and lung health education.  I don?t want to let them down.

The proceeds from Climb the Carew will fund research for better treatments, education to reduce the impact of respiratory illness and support for people with lung disease and their loved ones.

Please take this opportunity to show your support by making your pledge now. All donations are welcome and the more people that at least give a little, puts me one step closer to my goal.

Thanks for your support,

Dan Klocke
