Research Findings Indicate Racial Differences in Asthma Diagnosis Test
A recent study conducted by the American Lung Association Asthma Clinical Research Centers Network (ACRC) – published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology – uncovered racial differences in the effectiveness of the Methacholine Challenge Test (MCT) in diagnosing asthma. The MCT is a tool that has been widely used to diagnose asthma in patients with shortness of breath but normal spirometry. Learn more »
